He sint overrated, and he will beat old Cassa for the Ring belt. Kat training for this fight > http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=boqYHAURbcM
Well I voted yes,,,but I probably shouldn't have voted because it depends what your talking about. He can be overrated or underrated, depending on how you look at it. I said "yes" thinking you were talking about p4p material. Still absolutely love the guy though
He already is an interim world champion. You do realise also that Arturo Gatti was a multiple time and multiple divisional world champion also?
However you look at it, boxing needs Katsidis because he sure isn't boring! I hope he sticks around a couple of more years, the Gatti comparison has merit and a slick boxer may run rings around him but i hope he entertains us for at least the next 12 months!
No, because most are not giving him a chance against elite fighters anyways. Kats is was he is a good fighter but with holes in his defense that cuts easily, but his dedication and excitement are world class.
Most people probably don't rate Katsidis as an elite or even close to elite fighter, so he probably isn't overated. He's one of the most entertaining fighters in boxing and would be a tough out for most guys at or around 135, but the best in those divisions would beat him.If he beats Casamayor, like he should, than he will gain more credibility. After that he needs to get in the ring with Juan Diaz asap.
he is not overrated. even his hardcore aussie fans know where he stands. he is exciting and he is relentless but he is not top level yet. i don't think anybody is overrating him
Completely agree. I don't think that he is particularly highly rated - no-one tips him to beat Diaz for example. People do though, anticipate many exciting fights with his style. Media coverage does not necessarily equate to a positive appraisal of a fighter (cf Gatti).
I dont even know why this topic was started. Katsidis is still pretty much still a work in process.Though his all action style tends to get people a little too excited. The funniest thing is i bet my balls on it that the majority of posters have seen no more then 2 or so of kats bouts.
