    Dope!

Takayama a beast. You'll never get a dull card with Ioka and Takayama on it. I am far from praising their opposition, but all things considered I'm more than cool with it.

September 27th... does this mean neither will be fighting on New Years' Eve??? Or just quick turnaround after the soft touches, I wonder?

Nothing wrong with Hara as an opponent, even if Tanaka stopped him. Ioka vs Reveco II pencilled in for Dec 31st. Takayama vs Tanaka on the same card would be a nice ending to the year...would surely be the first time 2 titles would have been unified 3 times in 366 days

Ah yes, I had read Ioka vs. Reveco II was mandated but totally forgot and wasn't sure if they'd squeeze it in this year.

    Good stuff...

Man, to think that Takayama is 32 years old with all of those wars against tough customers on his ledger and that he won his first title back in 2005 over a decade ago! A strawweight! Crazy. His "boxing age" is bordering on the eldest of all current titlists despite only being 32.

He did seem to look old in the final round and a bit against Fahlan, and in fairness the Thai deserved a tko win there...need to feel this is a 50-50 fight, or close to it.

Hara's "support" team said this was a done deal earlier this week. I suspect Ohashi would have announced it a few days ago were it not for their other big one this week.
