According to boxrec anyway. Travis Kauffman vs Luis Ortiz. Who do you guys got for this one? Assuming the fight actually does happen that is..

Nice build up fight for Ortiz.

I was hoping Ortiz would rid us of Oquendo as an eliminator for the mandatory position or interim WBA belt. That would be a win-win situation, IMO.

Luis Ortiz will win by KO/TKO, Travis Kauffman isn't very good.

If it really is going to be on ESPN, it's an excellent opportunity for Ortiz to raise his profile and be seen as a bona fide HW contender.

Travis Kauffman. Now there's a name I haven't seen in awhile.

I haven't scouted Ortiz, but unless Kauffman's gotten significantly better, it should be his fight to lose. It does look like a good fight for ESPN. I'm not seeing it listed on Boxrec, though.

    Ortiz by brutal KO.

With a couple of more fights Ortiz is a great opponent for Wlad, and had the skills to challenge.

Oquendo is busy complaining Wlad wont fight him because his resume is too great.

He's fighting top 10 Derrick Rossy this weekend for the IBO/WBA/WBC/WBF/WBO/IBF mandatory position.:lol::lol:

Good move by Ortiz actually fighting someone who wants to fight rather than run their mouth about how Wlad is ducking him.

I'll go with Ortiz by late KO.

    Great stepup fight for Ortiz.

Hope to see him vs David Rodriguez next since that fight was all but made before Nino tore his knee training.:think

Didn't realize Ortiz was already 34. Dude needs to step it up after this while he's still got time to possibly earn himself a title shot.

Yeah, he's older than your average prospect, but the man has skills.:bbb
