****ing great fight i think their style here would gel better than nietes-palicte as ioka tends to go inside more. But then it would be unfair to palicte if the wbo give ioka a shot instead of ordering a rematch. But to begin with is that even possible considering nietes-palicte was a draw?
Super stoked that my boy Ioka was introduced to so many on the mainstream/Western level after so many years of being criminally unappreciated. Glad he showed his stuff against a worthy opponent... As for Ioka vs. Nietes, what a great fight, on paper and what should be in ring! I had Ioka in my P4P top 10 before his "retirement," a win over Nietes would be quite another feather in the cap. People do not appreciate that Ioka truly is elite.
Good fight. Hopefully it’s staged in the Philippines. Would be the biggest fight staged there in a long ass time.
Great fight but that's just dirty Palicte was brought in as just an opponent and now gets showed aside? Although i would love Palicte vs Arroyo.
Nietes vs. Ioka would be a good fight. Should be really competitive. Ioka looked great in his comeback fight although Arroyo still is overrated and his win over Cuadras was a fluke as Cuadras entering rehab few weeks later.
Yeah this is great news. Either way, somebody I've been a fan of for a long time has to catch an L (perhaps the proverbial turning of the page on their career's final chapter) but also one at last gets a huge long-deserved cherry on top of their legacy to go along with having been h2h beasts for years.
