Martínez is switch-hitting frequently now, twisting his upper body away and using southpaw jabs as sort of a smokescreen to navigate his way clear when his back is against the ropes after using his bursts of momentum offensively to crunch Ioka with power salvos. Both men chucking leather in a very slow and deliberate manner now, planting their feet. Ioka with a few hard jabs on the chin stepping inside.

Round 10

Martínez tired now, carrying his leading arm by his side as he shuffles away from Ioka. Jabs and lead rights scything a path in for Ioka, while Martínez wings out the occasional warning shot hook into the air to keep Ioka honest. Ioka very consistently touching up Martínez's body, and particularly his liver, while pursuing him across the ring. Martínez starts to wake up in the last twenty seconds, landing a couple of hooks across Ioka's jaw.

Round 11

Martínez is waiting on Ioka with his gloves by his belly. Ioka jabs in and Martínez springs his trap, lobbing his own diversionary body shots and then smacking the sides of Ioka's head with hooks. Ioka cautiously pressuring the fatiguing visitor, whose output has just about halved from the first several rounds. Ioka landing a single power shot or two behind the step-in left jab and hightailing it the hell outta Dodge City before Martínez can make him pay.
