Ioka landed the much harder shots and dodged nearly all of Franco's punches after the beginning, where Franco landed some. For me, I think this is one of the worst robberies I have watched. I think people score for punches thrown way too much over landed. Only landed punches matter to me.

Ioka is landing much more. Franco however is throwing a lot more. I hate saying this as it sounds so pseudo-intellectual, but I think that if you understand boxing, you will feel Ioka wins this, and if you don't, you will feel it's close. Watch the fight for yourself, I think you'll agree.

 

I might watch it, be interesting to see you and @CST80 card at the end though. Draws are such dissatisfying results.

 

Interested to see you card too, since I know you picked Franco.

Sorry for the delay, my friend had to do something. Anyway, more of the same. I can see how people scored this a draw, if you aren't paying close attention, you might think the thrown punches are landing. They're really not, Ioka is dodging them and making it close, so it appears they are. Basically all clear punches this round were landed by Ioka, and nearly all punches in general.

Also, this was a really great fight if you're a boxing purist. It was a brilliant display of technique.

So in fact, it was Ioka who was robbed.

 

I hope Ioka doesn't pursue Inoue and actually get the fight. Retiring on a brutal KO loss is a terrible way to go out.

If you go down and look at the scores round by round (not the first fan thing), fans have it 10-2 for Ioka at the moment, with 16 scorers. This was not a close fight, and I highly doubt a lot of the people who purport that they scored it for Franco actually watched the fight at all.

 

What else is interesting is that other websites, specifically the one across the street, when you read the comments they think Franco won and got robbed. Ill score the fight when i can get around to it and see what i come up with.
