    Both men trying to establish their jabs, Franco establishes his first, he's giving Ioka a ton of lateral movement, Ioka looking for opening to land to the body, not finding many. Franco lands an occasional combo to the head of Ioka. He's backing Ioka up o the ropes with his persistent jab.

    Franco mostly throwing patting jabs with no muster on em. Blonde Ioka with a couple of nice left hooks to the body and overhand rights to the temple.

    I had Ioka taking the first in a very close round where you select the less impactful but higher volume or the lower volume but higher impact shots based on your preference.

    Round 2 Ioka 10-9

    Ioka out a lot more active, throwing and anding combinations to the head and body of Franco, apparently the first truly was a feel out round. He's backing him up pretty consistently. Franco firing off combos to keep him off. Most are being blocked. While Ioka's are landing clean, his jab to the body followed by left hooks are nice.

    Ioka hurt Franco a bit early and despite a comeback effort by Franco when he recovered it isn't enough to overcome the earlier damage received. Ioka's subtle slips on the inside are masterful, he's boxing exquisitely.

    Ioka stunned Franco, who goes on his bike for a while until he recovers. Franco stopped being flustered and managed to make it competitive for the second half of the round. Ioka being able to push Franco, despite the weight difference.

    Even if Franco ends up deserving the decision I hope they rob him.

    They shouldn't let this scumbag leave Japan with a win.

    Ioka getting in close, landing compact uppercuts flush. Franco throwing pitty pat flurries, Ioka ripping him to the body. Ioka battering him with clean hooks and uppercuts to the head. Franco throwing a lot, but landing little. Ioka really sitting down on the head shots, and looping in nasty left hook to the body when he least expects it. The right hook uppercut one two from Ioka is beautiful.

    I don't know if it's the way Franco throws or something, but he only seems to land cuffing shots whereas Ioka is landing clear sharp shots with a bit of pop on them. Another round where the lower volume but higher impact wins out for me and the volume difference is shrinking.

    Another highly active round from both men, Franco did better in this round, but Ioka keeps landing the better shots, especially his straight right. Although he sometimes overloads when he throws a right uppercut.

    Franco inching forward, clubbing his hands with weak hooks. Ioka responding with tight compact one twos down the middle. Franco lands a hard one two, Ioka pauses for a second, then amps up the pressure. Landing the far cleaner eye catching shots. Although Franco's accuracy has improved this round. It can't compete with Ioka's laser guided shots. Ioka hammering him with rights to the body late.

    One thing I can credit Franco for, his jab may not be that accurate or heavy but damn is it active. A pesky thing to overcome for anyone really. He's beginning to apply combinations behind that unrelenting jab to push Ioka back and take the round. It was still close thanks to Ioka's accuracy on the back foot.
