Ioka looks REALLY confident here, Reveco looks...like he's not been enjoying Japan

    I love Ioka's jab.

But yeah, he looks extremely confident. Smooth. Composed.

    Round 1

Ioka is catching jabs on his forearms, circling to his left and shooting a quick short counter jab on a 1:3 clip stacked up with Reveco's. Ioka patient, turning Reveco and pecking away. Lots of hopping in and out by Reveco, sashaying on the ball of either foot, doubling his jab and looping rights into the neck of the champ but nothing too clean.

10-9 Ioka, very close - pick what you like (wasteful aggression with excessive movement or tidiness being economical to a fault)

Ioka back to the body shots, thought he was gonna be a body snatched a few years ago...nice to see him consistently back to them

    Round 2

Ioka trades some body uppers with Reveco, both dipping and torquing in off bent lead knees with an inward twist of their upper halves. Nice exchanges inside, both respectful of each other enough to not go headhunting at quarters this close aside from a few water-testing jabs. Lead right at mid-range from Reveco, just clear of Ioka's head. Ioka marches Reveco diagonally across the breadth of the ring with jabs up top and left hooks an inch to fore of Reveco's liver, with Reveco backpedaling just quickly enough to prevent them from being very meaty and impactful.

10-9 Ioka, close again, high level stuff here.

    20-18 Ioka

That triple left hand was absurd. Left hook to the body, uppercut, left hook to the body. Yeah, he's looking like he's supposed to hear Ioka. Still, we'll see what his man has in 3 and 4.

Reveco struggling to make weight...the body assault...clever game plan...

Doesn't the stomach shrink during hard weight cuts/borderline starvation, making it very vulnerable and sensitive? :think

I'd say so. Just my opinion though.
