Keep an eye on Amir Khans brother

Some people say he is better than his older brother was at that age!

Think there is talk of him competing at the olympics as well.

Lovely finishing combo... I remember amir when he was just a club fighter (though obviously a good one) and he was just like that.

 

He looks kinda different from amir, Amir has brownish skin his kid brothers kinda whiteish

 

hope he doesn't get hyped too early.

who am i kidding...of course he will be. if he's 15 now he'll be 20 for the london olympics and if he wins a medal the hype will be like amir khan * 100. hopefully he'll live up to it.

 

Someone from my boxing club beat Amir's brother ahwhile back by decision, but yeah he does look pretty good in that video hope he goes far.

 

It needs to be another case of Vitali/Wladimir, ie one brother has a good chin, the other a weak one. Then he might go places.

 

It's pretty simple, it really is, the point I was making is that Vitali and Wlad have shown that just because 2 fighters are brothers has no bearing on the quality of their chin. Vitali had a good chin, Waldimir not so good. So I was saying let's hope this is the same situation with the Khan's. It seems Amir has a weak chin, so let's hope his brother is better blessed in that department.

Fighters fighting in the lower divisions cannot protect a weak chin, because they don't have the massive physical advantages over their opposition like someone like Wladimir has over his peers. With Amir, I feel it's only a matter of time before he gets KO'd, having a chin like that. Wlad on the other hand, can use his height and strength advantages to tie his man up or keep him at bay.

BTW, I'm a huge Wlad fan and not disputing his achievements.

 

yeah but tommy hearns had good size advantages and a big punch to make guys think twice.

Hearns was a one off freak of nature, and his chin was not that bad, he was hurt by world class fighters, not feather fisted domestic fighters.
