The ones who are saying Cotto ****ed up or is overrated are the Joyboys. Nobody else.

These ****s will do anything to distance Margarito from Mayweather. At every possible turn.

I know can you hear all this bull **** coming from all the Money May **** jockeys? incredible. Cotto was exposed, he was too small, he didnt go to the body. LOL I wonder what the excuse would be if Floyd lost to Margarito....The ring was too small for Floyd to run?

Mayweather won't ever fight him, so no worries.

But his cockriders are incredible. Really. Not a single one of them understands the sport from what I can see.

Anyone who disrespects Miguel Cotto on this board is a rat ******* sorry excuse for a boxing fan. I never had a clear favourite to win the fight before it started but I found myself backing Margarito within a couple of rounds because I felt he was the underdog for most part.

Cotto was outboxing him for most of the fight and landing hard combinations on him, it was just the sheer iron jaw, workrate and stubborn will of Margarito which was bringing him through.

I can't stand these dumb assholes that when an undefeated fighter loses his 0, they instantly label him over-rated, glass chinned, limited and all this other nonsense. Have a bit of respect for these fighters or go find another sport to watch, both of them are at the top of their game, the top tier boxers in their division ... so how the **** can they be over-rated?

    It's incredible isn't it?

Now that supposidly a Cotto-Mayweather fight is invalid. :patsch We can see such legendary contests as Mayweather-Mayorga, or Mayweather-DLH 2.

Yea sure. You've got us all convinced. :rofl

Stylistically Mayweather-Cotto would be a completely different fight, Margo won through the relentless pressure he put on Cotto. He's shown us how you beat Cotto but there's no way Mayweather could put that kind of pressure on him.

That's what most gets me about Mayweather lovers. They actually don't want Mayweather to fight guys like Margarito and Cotto because of the danger. So they do the same thing their hero does -- make excuses about money or name status to duck the best and try to convince the world that the safer fights are somehow more relevant.

That I really don't get. They're not boxing fans. They're Floyd allies.

I agree. There isn't a soul at 147 who is going to replicate what Margarito did last night. Nobody.

Cotto isn't over-rated at all. I don't care what Paul Williams has done, I still regard Cotto and Margarito as the top two welterweights in the world. Cotto could of used his jab more and worked the body more but credit to Margarito for fighting a very good fight. I can only hope we see the rematch.

That's what proper boxing's about, two fighters going head to head and taking each other's best shots, blooded and swollen faces yet trying to stay in there. Two warriors in the ring. Floyd won't fight either of them.

Ambition Def, I was thinking about you today. I would like to man up and admit I was wrong in a thread discussion we had earlier this week in which I completely dismissed your argument on Marg coming out on top and even possibly hurting Hoya. You were right and now Hoya is saying he's not fighting any Mexicans.

Just wanna give you your props on that:good

Well said m8. There are a few posters who have come out and said Cotto was exposed and that his heart and will is weak. Get the **** out of here with that ****. That angers me so much. I am a huge Cotto fan and also a Margo fan, and I don't think Cotto has anything to be ashamed of. He fought well whilest he could, but that unbelievable relentless pressure of Tony was just too much. I doubt any WW would have been able to beat Tony last night. Congrats Margo. :good

Both are Godly and true warriors and made me appreciate the sport even more and made me feel good about spending every dollar on that fight yesterday.

Unlike marathon chicken cheetah runner gayweather who runs and claims he's the best.

    My hairy arabic ass!

**** that. i was even more a fan of cotto even in his loss, he impressed me more or should i say both guys impressed me more than what i expected of them. Cotto is an excellent boxer, margarito is a fighting machine on the other hand
