I did and no he isn't, he loses control too easily. In Hatton's case he let him get away with murder as I described. I'm not talking out of any orifice at all, you haven't even got a countering argument. Smacks of fanboyism. Try to be objective, the rules apply to everybody.
Can't really remember to be honest, I only saw Calzaghe - Hopkins when it was on and I was pissed as a fart. Hopkins is a dirty fighter too, I don't mind admitting it. In the Hatton fight he admonished them both very early on because they both cme straight out and started fouling and he seperated them when they clinched throughout the fight because they were both dirty in the clinches so he broke them apart like he's supposed to. The fact that being dirty in the clinches is Hatton's stock in trade doesn't make a referee biased because he stops him from doing it.

He doesn't allow clinching and wrestling, there is a difference.

Against Tszyu, Hatton would basically duck down and run in, ramming his head into Tszyu's chest and then straddling his arms from the outside. Then he would push Tszyu against the ropes, wiggle his arms to the inside, and throw uppercuts and body shots. Then when Tszyu starts to respond Hatton looks up at the ref and the ref breaks the clinch. Just sickening.

Where did you reference these fights? All I saw was you say that Vann has been a referee during Haton fights. Give me some examples of where Vann let Hatton get away with all this cheating? Thats what I was asking.

I'm not a fan boy and I dislike Hatton holding aswell, this is about Mickey Vann and you probably looking at Boxrec, seeing Vann has refeered some of Hattons fights and then saying that he must have let him hold because it was in England

I'm probably looking st boxrec? I've seen most of Hatton's fights, when they happened to boot. Hatton vs Stephen Smith, Rios, I think he did Oliviera as well. There's a few off the top of my head. Just read my first post-the description, dig out your videos and tell me it isn't accurate. Dave Parris is terrible for this as well, worse if anything.
