I said barao would be champ after he demolished pickett, weidman would be champ around the time he beat sakara, gustafsson when he moved down here and started training with davis after his loss, and rory before the condit loss. If you are telling me those guys werent underrated at that time your on something! Give gustafsson one more fight and he will ko jones. weidman will sub silva right now! rory will rematch condit after condit takes that belt and stop condit. and barao vs cruz is a mismatch.
Barao entered the UFC riding the longest unbeaten beaten streak in the sport. Everyone who followed MMA closely had/has high hopes for him. There were already whispers of Rory being the next GSP before he even debuted against Guymon. There was a reason why his second UFC fight was against a big name like Condit. Weidman was a good call. Until recently, he has been overlooked by a lot of people. Gus had a lot of hype after smashing Hamman, and his loss to Davis didn't really seem to hurt it. All of them, minus Weidman, have enjoyed lot of hype since making their debuts.
