Manny priced himself out last time. Let's see what happens after the Marquez 4 AND probably 5 fight.

Manny earned his right to stay atop besides his slide.
(Carried the lighter weights on his back post Morales/Barrera/De La Hoya)

we all know arum isent going to let this fight happen regardless of what pac and floyd want

pacquiao will be fed to a TR fighter who is entertaining to watch so that he can pass on the torch

bob arums a money hungry snake but his hatred for mayweather is paramount in his decision making

why would arum hate the money that floyd would generate? it was the other way around and it was floyd who doesn't want to work with arum. arum already stated that he has no problem working with 50 for the floyd fight. arum's beef is with schaefer.

I'll answer the post of the OP as no one did.

The PPV revenue is not in question here people. You can throw that nonsense in another thread.

Yes, pacquiao deserves to keep his status, his body of work from 126 onwards cannot be denied.

You can argue his close call with Marquez, but then again, Marquez is a legend in his own right, so no shame there, and the loss to Bradley was an abberation.

So there is no reason to push him down the ratings to "save" the so-called mega-fight.

Besides, has there even been any progress with it? No. They can all go to hell without it even materializing.
