Last night on DAZN card there were at least two terrible score cards...and it seems that everytime there is a televised fight we get to see some awful judging.

Nikita Ababiy won every round on all three judges cards last night, while Hernandez was barely given 1 round against Dawejko by one judge.

What if we start logging all these judges names, dates, and fights where they put out ridiculous scores. Have a sticky thread and put their names on display here....then once a judge does this repeatedly we can send a complaint to athletic commission in whatever state the fight was (bunch of us sign a petition or something like that)

Just need someone to help log all of this bad judging week to week in Excel...at least the big fights.

Now I don't have time to do all of this....but maybe @IntentionalButt and @CST80 would want to do it??? :ARMS1:

Just an idea....we can have a sticky thread of shame for these incompetent judges. At the very least people will know who they are.

Great idea. A judge's Hall of Shame is what we need.

It's hard to tell unless you look at the scores of individual rounds. Two cards could have a three round discrepancy and be the same for every other round. Or a card could have the same score as one of those cards and be all over the place on a round by round basis.

Every time a popular fighter loses its called a robbery which cheapens actual robberies.

This should be limited to times when one judge has a completely different scorecard to the other two judges in a easy to score fight. It seems to often way too often. How can one judge see a fight completely different form the other two judges who seem to agree on everything?

Sounds like a good idea but doubt it would do much good as the State Commissions are as suspect as the judges. Someone asked Bob Bennett NSAC head honcho if he was investigating Adalaide Byrds laughable 118-110 card he said " No she just had a bad night, she's one of my best judges" & laughed. Cant expect an ex FBI man to know much about boxing I guess

I think it is a noble pursuit. The problem is all of the big fights are judged by "pre-approved" judges, meaning they don't need to be told what the expectations are. These guys know exactly what is expected of them and most of them are not stupid, they get it. Of course, you do have your Adelaide Byrds who are simply too stupid to be put in these positions, but they are not the norm. Usually, you have the same cast of characters. Go back and look at the big fights and look at who the judges are. Dave Moretti, Steve Weisfeld and Glenn Feldman are 3 names you see over and over again. They know how to present a plausible decision even though it is the wrong decision. So many people are gullible when they see razor-thin decisions. Their response is, well, it was close. BS.

Judges should be completely independent of the boxing orgs and the orgs should have no input at all as to who is going to judge.

There should be an on line BS file for judges with a count of the questionable decisions.

I hear ya...those three judges are always involved in biggest fights...but they are never too far off.

Sometimes though they have two good judges and then throw in a third dud, like some unknown guy from Italy and he would have a totally different card than all the others. Or you have someone like Larry Hazzard Jr.....his Korobov card was criminal.

I mean what can we do about it other than putting their names on display in a hall of shame. Like someone else said give them "BS points" everytime they have a terrible scorecard.

Even if judges are independently appointed by some commission, I am sure that promoters can have behind closed doors influence on these commissions. These people all know each other and socialize in the same gatherings....

We need more accountability and transparency in the sport....how else to do it other than shaming the actual culprits by name.
