Keefy had a stroke last night and is in ICU. Apparently also suffered heart attack as well. Will be a long road for him as he is paralised down the left side of his face and it could well take 6 months for him to learn to talk again.

Keef is one of the funniest most colourful characters in boxing and obviously is not everybody's cup of tea. I am sure you will all agree though he does not deserve this and I hope he get's well soon - I have to say I have always enjoyed my brief times with him and our sport needs people like him

Keef's Victoria's Mr.Boxing. A huge figure in the game for years. He's a great character with a huge heart. No doubt he'll recieve plenty of support in recovering from all involved in the local and national game.

Very sad news this is. A speedy recovery I hope.
