Thurman doing one trick pony **** because he's so drained. Everyone currently above him beats this version of him.

Would have thought he would be fit enough for 12 rounds, but he looks far from fit in the closing rounds.

To many injuries and long lay offs. He looks old and he's only 33.

    Round 11

Thurman is rotating above the waist and winding him up for ripcord hooks and consistently ambushing Barrios successfully with them, using fleet lateral stepping to get himself in position to score. Thurman using quick darting motions to either side to slip the Barrios jab and carving with his own. Barrios just turning and watching helplessly for the most part, realizing there's little he can do. He lunges at Thurman late as Thurman is circling more rapidly, and Thurman goes down but not from a punch. Bayless correctly rules a slip (more like self-trip).

    10-9 Thurman

    110-99 Thurman

11-0 Thurman. Thurman needs another fight before he gets a fight with Spence or Crawford.

Those would all be very entertaining fights. I don't understand the need to disparage a fighter who could clearly give the top in the division some trouble.

Not to make this a puff post but remember when Floyd was out 2 years and came out against Marquez and looked better than ever. That’s what separates Floyd and Manny from this era of WWs.. whether one of these guys become undisputed or not Floyd and Manny made sure you saw the separation between them and the field..

    Round 12

Thurman is stepping in with the high jab, then aggressively hooking off it, then parlaying that motion into a duck away from Barrios' straight reach-down counters. Thurman making Barrios miss from point blank out to medium-long range, changing altitudes, keeping his guard up when not punching, and breaking Barrios' rhythm with counter jabs, hooks, and line drive rights. Barrios stunned a few times, constantly throwing back at Thurman but no chance of any late KO heroics.

    10-9 Thurman

    120-108 Thurman
