Well, with Wangek's withdrawal from the DAZN main event, this PBC on Fox PPV may just have seen itself elevated to live viewing priority status. That's even in spite of this one's co-feature itself undergoing a recent change, as Abel Aarón Ramos is no longer facing Josésito López as planned but a substituting Lucas Alfred Santamaria.

The plan was for Thurman vs. Barrios and Ramos vs. López to both serve as WBC non-final welterweight eliminators, with winners to possibly meet next zeroing in on a mandatory determination. This remains one AFAIK, but I doubt Ramos vs. Santamaria still gets sanctioned as one (the replacement isn't ranked top fifteen at 147lbs - nor is Barrios, although he is ranked #10 down at 140lbs).

Think Thurman will look dog **** and win a robbery then they can feed him to Spence to avoid the Crawford sized elephant in the room for another year.

I can see a looping overhand from Keith catching Barrios flush and knocking him spark out. So, fingers crossed, One Time might return this Saturday, if only for a few fleeting seconds.

Thurman by stoppage. He is a much better fighter than Barrios, who got stopped by a midget his last time out.

Thurman finally shows something 'one time' and puts his name back in the lottery. Thurman stoppage between rounds 7-10

Barrios was tough and pushed Tank very far, usually when Tank is in a close fight it's because he's off but this was Barrios doing good work.

It's not quite zero risk for Thurman.

Ramos vs Santamaria could be entertaining.

Unless he has completely deteriorated Thurman should win this and win by stoppage. It has been a very long layoff so it’s possible but man I just don’t see anything from Barrios that would give Thurman problem. Barrios is average in every aspect. He had size at 140 but at 147 that’s out the windows.

Thurman stops Barrios brutally. He gets his first stoppage win in years. I no longer think Keith is top 4-5 at WW but I think he dispatches anyone that isn't top 10.

Aside: Why the **** is this a $75 PPV?

Even in his prime Thurman was overrated in my opinion.

He always seemed to have an identity crisis in the squared circle where he couldn't decide whether to look for a KO or box off the back foot - think current version of AJ where hes caught between two styles.

This inactive, ravished injury version has come back for a cash out and to be obliterated by Spence, so i for one hope this is a cherry pick that goes tits up (although will probably lead to Spence v Barrios)

Thought the title was about Marlo Thomas. She's in a different weight division.
