Yeah The only pillow in this fight will be under Brock's head on the floor of the ring.

5 Years is a long time. I pick Thurman by knock out but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes like RJJ v Danny Green.

We shall see. I love the build up. For a card that pretty much has next to zero interest from the American fans, Thurman has made a lot of people interested in tuning in.

Which goes to show, that man should probably look into being a promoter and/or commentator once he decides to hang up the gloves. He's made for TV.

Thurman is an odd one. He clearly has a lot of power, but struggles to get stoppages. He also gets hurt quite often, but always recovers well.

I just said this same thing to a buddy at the gym. His power is definitely an issue for his opponents, yet you never see him 'looking' for the KO. With his style, his body is often open for the picking and he is often hurt to the body, yet, if or when it happens, he bounces back and delivers.

I credit that to his IQ of understanding what limits, and consequences of his actions in the ring can bring. He's stated often that he's been fighting for 29 years.... Because of that he knows his abilities well, even going into his twilight years of the sport.

Kirkland actually had an okay chin. He shrugged off a fair amount of big shots from big hitters. The problem was, is that his coach Anne Wolfe was psychotic about his training and never allowed Kirkland to warm up before going into the ring. He was always cold at the start of fights so was vulnerable to getting dropped.

Sensational Knockout! Man that was fun to watch. The Brock kid came out on fire in a back and forth 1st round, then Keith Settled down in Round 2 and took that boy out in the 3rd!!

    1 Time is Back Baby!

    RBR:
    1 : Jarvis 10-9
    2 : Thurman 10-9
    3 : Thurman by KTFO!!

Now, many are gonna say this kid was a bum. Well I gotta be honest, the kid has some skills and pop in his punch, but he was no match for Keith. I also think that Jarvis worked himself up to a tizzy in the locker room and seemed to gas fairly quickly.

I see this happen often, fighters waiting for hours and hours in the locker room and burning a lot of energy. By the time the fight happens they're already starting to get tired and it shows in the ring. Keith on the other hand is a seasoned pro and knew how to manage the wait time better, stayed relaxed and once he shook out the cobwebs in that 1st round he started to really find his groove, using his usual lateral motion and starting to befuddle the kid.

Brock Jarvis is not a bum, he's a good solid B or C level fighter. But he was put in the deep end and Thurman looked spectacular. 1 Time ain't no one to mess around with. Those right hands in the 3rd round were devastating and Keith also dug in a body shot as well for good keeping! Make no mistake about it, Keith Thurman is a special special legendary fighter and it is awesome that he's back.

This was fun to watch. Apparently the Thurman Aussie tour may continue if Tim Tszyu wins his match next month. Keith could become the Aussie Killer in this new chapter of his career!!

Ohh man that left uppercut, picture perfect, put dudes lights out! Great camera angle!

The way he put those punches together both for the first KD and then the second KD was highlight reel material!!

No. Just no. Kirklands chin was abysmal bro. Can't put that on Anne Wolfe.

He is not a big puncher at the world level. There's a reason why the "One Time" moniker is hilarious now. I don't know where you've been because this has been poked fun at many times on ESB.
