    When was the last time a top p4p fighter faced an unranked (ring) fighter?

    Im not implying it doesn't happen... just curious as to the instances.

    Anyways, I'll wait for official news. Too many people go overboard on nothing but rumors.

    Spence-Ocampo from last year is one that comes to mind that fits the criteria. I haven't seen him fight, but his record suggests Rolls is (at least) a cut below Ocampo...

    Just about every Mexican wanted to see that fight. It was six years in the making. It did 1 million PPVs.

    No one and I mean no one wants to see Rolls vs Golovkin.

    I couldn't think of anything recent either.

    Did see some posts on Mayweather versus Andre Berto. Berto had lost 3 of 6 going in to that fight. Pretty sure he wasn't ranked at WW anymore.
