Is it really impossible to Believe that Pac get s kod here ? He's being around the block a few times now ,a lot of wear and tear . Could be one of those ,age catching up all in one fight fight s .It wouldn't make Thurman Superman , just prove that Manny s time has come .

It's pretty hard to see him being KO'd to be honest if you look at his record.

He's been around the block and the only guy to knock him out is one of the best counter punchers of this generation, with his 4th fight with Pac, with angel heredia shakes. So if that's the criteria to knock Pac out, lets run them by Thurman:

    1) One of the best counterpuncher of his generation? Nope.
    2) Is fighting Pac for the 4th time so had 36 rounds to figure him out? Nope.
    3) Angel Heredia or somebody with a similar "background" as one of his TWO conditioning coaches? Nope. Well maybe, who knows, I haven't met them.

I find it funny that JMM was basically the perfect fighter to pull it off at the right time and ever since everyone thinks everyone is knocking Pac out, some people even though Floyd was gonna knock pac out because he has a good right hand, lol. People forget how much needs to go the fighter's way to land that perfect punch, again.

So we're clear and for the record, Manny is the only "G" in this fight. I just wanted this archived in the halls of history until the end of the internet.

I get all that . Manny s not some guy just waiting for a tap on the Chin to knock him out .JMM could fight him again 5 times and never get the ko again . My point is ,at this stage of his career , sometime s that s what happens . They meet a younger guy , who s a little faster , reflexes a little sharper and the old body just doesn't react as fast .It had Happened to score s of boxer's .
Not saying that Pac s heading for that career ending fight here , just if he is then I won't be gobsmacked .

I see the pawed rangefinder jab being VERY critical in this fight.

Pacquiao is not as fast as he used to be. His footwork and hand speed which are his most dangerous weapons are not the same. Besides, his power is gone too. So, Thurman has many advantages over him. If this fight happened at his prime then Thurman could not survive through 12 rounds.

And I'll ask again. So you're saying he's going to outperform Mayweather?

Every time he makes one of these threads it’s his way of saying that mayweather couldn’t do what he thinks these recent opponents can do which is KO Pacquiao ;)

    No!

    That's not possible!

I see Thurman losing some rounds but a KO doesn't necessarily mean he'll do better! May lost 2 rounds, Thurman may lost 4 before getting that knockout.

I really don't see a ko being any better than a thorough beating/outboxing.
