Ortiz was looking at Cortez for a signal that the fight was back on. Stupid him thinking Cortez was doing his job.

 

Indeed. The fact that this was the first exchange between the fighters since the headbutt makes it even more ridiculous. Cortez is a clown.

 

Man I'm trying to be neutral in this it seems half the people are saying time got called in and the other half it wasn't. Which is it? Are there any vids of the replay with audio out on this yet? Cortez is the missing link here.

Videos clearly show Cortez saying lets go and waving the fighters together. Cortez was confirming with the time keeperthat the round has begun, simple.

You know, I have been reading the dialogue and you can clearly detail those who are fans of the sport, enemies of Mayweather and neutral supporters of boxing. The video is clear. Cortez says, "Time in, box" ushers the boxers to fight one another. Ortiz is still trying to hug, kiss and hold, then he gets clocked by two punches....end of story. It was not illegal or a bad call, it was reality. I don't get how people are confused but those who are should watch the replay. It is clear.

What does Cortez looking away have to do with anything? It doesn't change the fact he restarted the fight and had made that clear.

 

Cortez was asking the timekeeper whether the round was over or not. You can hear him mumble something to the effect of "bell ring?" in the direction of the timekeeper shortly before the knockout.

 

Floyd haters really think Kizer is lying about this? Does Floyd own the Athletic Commission now? Wasn't the video posted last night for folks who didn't see it? Worst argument they've ever had in my opinion.
