Obscure fight and I'm not sure if anyone has anything to offer.. It was a ten rounder between two heavyweight fringe-journeyman guys in Nashville, Tennessee in October of 1997. Jackson had already been around the block with some 44 fights and had tangoed with Lewis, Ruddock, Byrd, Neilson, and Williams.. He had a respectable record of 38-5-0-35, though most of his wins were against weak opposition.. McKnight was 31-1-0-22, and likewise his competition was on the lesser side.. The result was reported as a close decision win for McKnight, but its also said that he was floored twice, and jackson was never down. Being that this was only scheduled for 10, Keith was floored twice and all this happening in his own backyard, I gotta wonder if this might have been a robbery. Couldn't find anything on youtube other than a highlight reel which to no surprise only showed Jackson putting him on his ****...

Both were examples of padded records.

I mean, McKnight has wins over Phil Jackson, and shot former LHWs Williamson and Barkley, other than that it was all tomato cans.

Jackson beat shot Alex Stewart and jorneyman Ray Anis.

Jackson seemed to be a little tougher of the two as he went distance in some losing efforts and lasted 8 rounds vs young Lewis, while McKnight was ko'd by all of his best opponents.
