He's pulling a Thurman special.......talking when everyone is locked up and then hides his head when everyone is free, then parades around like he's ducked when they are locked up again. Dude is a fraud, an ordinary guy that was out on his feet vs a blown up Diaz before the phantom body shot. I'm sick of his hype. When is he gonna face at least one top 15 WW?!

Thurman seems vulnerable. You could see where he was doing a funny dance in his last fight when he got clipped, not even nailed, which would lead me to believe his chin is not that great.

Well, Thurman is trying to fight Guerrero. Guerrero is ducking him.

Why is he a fraud, why is everyone a fraud nowadays? Just because someone might beat him one day wouldn't make him a fraud.

I agree he's a little overhyped, but it's hard to prove yourself when nobody fights you...im a Guerrero fan but he flat out turned down that fight, and THAT would be a fight where we would've seen what Thurman was really all about....same with Maidana on HBO a couple years ago...

The first real puncher with a degree of skill KO's him and I like Thurman, he is being brutally overhyped Soto Karass, Chaves, Diaz, and Zaveck who he couldn't KO, and a shot Quintana, are not great measuring sticks.

Soto Karass is a joke who's chin has already been destroyed by Maidana and Rosado and still it took Thurman that long to get him out.

I believe Rios will KO Chaves, he is being overhyped on this site to make Thurman seem more impressive.
Berto stopped Zaveck granted it was on a messed up eye, but he still perform better against him the Thurman.
The win over Diaz who hurt him only shows how overrated Porter is.

Thurman deserves the hype. Hes fun to watch, and makes you haters smash your keyboards in rage.
So many self proclaimed "boxing experts" on here, yet you would swear none of them want the sport to transition into the next generation with all the "hype job" and "fraud" threads.

Thurman is the man and hes not afraid to let his 0 go. Its why I respect him so much. Entertaining fighter that wants everyone. You dont like that, you shouldnt be a fan of this sport.

I believe Welter is being vastly overrated right now, Kell is too.
They're talents but they are not the talents they are being made out to be.

They have the Berto, Ortiz stink on them to me they were both the most avoided fighters until they fought and exposed each other, well Maidana had already exposed Ortiz. Its all hype people need to create boogeymen it gets them more interested, everyone has to be an unbeatable monster for anyone to give a **** about them and the moment they lose they are dropped like a hot potato, its very much a pattern in this site.

I think they would both lose to Pacquiao, Bradley, Marquez, Guerrero, possibly Maidana, Abregu would probably test them and maybe beat them.

Berto was protected from dangerous fighters for years....He bailed on the shane fight, and then got whooped by ortiz.......................and he might have been on roids to boot!

Ortiz........No man, no one feared the tree after his quit job to chino. No one.
