Thurman is one of the few fighters today that really has an alpha mentality, and is a true competitor, and isnt looking to just pad his bank account with the path of least resistance. My only knock on him is that he doesnt make the fights he wants happen, then again maybe its out of his control, idk. Guys like Canelo and Hopkins make the fights happen even when their promoters and team are trying to squash it. Id like to see Thurman join that club. But I like his attitude, and hate that hes being kept on the side in rather meaningless fights (other than Ghost), hope he has a breakout fight next (Garcia, Porter, Khan)
