The media makes fighters, novice boxing fans like 95% of you follow the media without true knowledge of boxing. If you have the ability to analyze ones skill set one would see that Thurman is the 2nd best welterweight in boxing and beats everybody besides Mayweather.

    Who agrees?

  2. He could beat Paulie and Maidana, thats about it

Bring this up when he has two wins on par with Robert Guerrero' WW wins.

And after Mayweather, Marquez, Pacquiao, and Bradley all lose, move up in weight permanently, or retire.

I've been impressed with him so far. I'd like to see GB put him in with Guerrero.

GBP has tried to put him in with Guerrero. RG had rejected the fight.

    False.

Gotta stop hyping up these fighters before they get tested.

It happened to Matthysse and Canelo this past weekend.

He may not even be a top 5 Welter.

    We don't know.

    Give it time.

He could be, he surely deserves a share of Broner's hype and notoriety.

Well Pacquaio and JMM are at WW too so no.
But he is at least on par with the rest with the most potential to improve.

Very very false he was getting a boxing lesson and losing to the midget Chavez before he was bailed out by a body shot.....

He has Promise but he's not ready, he'll lose to the Guererro, Garcia's Ortiz, and Floyd of the world....

A Sugar Shane match is a good measuring stick for now, I have serious questions after Chavez though ......
