porter dad said the money has to be right to fight thurman. they want duck thurman but they are in no hurry to fight him either. im thinking porter want a million for to fight him. but lets see how thurman looks saturday until the discuss because either porter or thurman might floyd next year if they keep winning. especially thurman if he continues to ko guys.

I can't see Thurman getting a title. Floyd will hold the WBA AND WBC titles, and Pacquiao holds the WBO title. As you said, Porter won't fight him, and he's nowhere near ready for Floyd or Pac.

Thurman should have more hype. He's way more impressive than any other up and coming Welter.

Big fan of Thurman and Porter...I give the edge to Thurman. Both are not boring, bring it and have some pop!

still am not sold on Thurman's Chin. It matters. If he has a Chin he can go far in this sport :good

Thurman is like a watered down version of Roy Jones

A lot of athleticism and explosiveness, paired with a chin made of the purest china

a shot journeyman like Soto Karass wobbled him with a pity pat punch

That and Thurman has the WBA Interim belt.
Floyd v Maidana is for the WBC and WBA Super @147.
Shouldn't that put Thurman in line to fight for the soon to be vacant WBA world title sometime this year?
