To but in in perspective lets compare him to Miguel Cotto a guy who is the same height as him at 5"7

In the amateurs Cotto fought at 141 while Keith Thurman fought at 152

Cotto started in the pros at 135 light weight division while Thurman started in the 147 division and even fighting at 154 light middleweight division.

Keith Thirman at age 26 is fighting at 147, at that same age Cotto was baely living the 140 division.

Miguel Cotto is seen as a big dude, Thurman is even bigger.

Cotyo is fighting at middleweight division now and is seen as a small guy in a 5"10 division, Thurman is gonna definately be fighting at middleweight, he is gonna be fighting guys way bigger than him.

I read the title and thought you were saying Thurman is going to get smaller. I think he'll move up to 154 eventually and dabble in 160 for big fights or to earn an additional belt.

It's all about discipline, Cotto should really still be at 147. Hopkins kept his body at 160 for about 15 years.

Yeah, Thurman will out grow WW. He is 5'10" and came into the Guerrero fight at 162. If he can't get the fights he needs at WW then probably in the next year or so he will move up. I think the he can make 154 real exciting.

Victor Ortiz looked huge back in 2011. He dehydrated 17 pounds or so.
And he was twice supposed to fight at 154. (Alvarez and Molina)
Yet he is still fighting at 147.

Heck, Hopkins fought at 160 for over 12 years and he made his debut at 175.

Yeah, he's listed at two different heights. I googled him and read 5'10" I went to Wikipedia and it read 5'7". Now I'm pretty sure that Guerrero is 5'8" and looked to be at least an inch taller. I think that he is closer to 5'10" than 5'7".
