People say his power is overated, his defense is ****, and his speed is not impresssive. I know this clip shows him fighting stiffs and mofos especially since these were his earlier fights, however how do you rate thurman's punching power overall in compairson to lets say maidana???? maidana's a natural 140lber while thurman is a big welter that could fight at 154....

    thoughts and honest opinions????:think

I think his defense is good and improving, and his power is definitely there. Puts his shots together well and sets good traps. Definitely one to watch.

PS at 147 he would destroy Maidana. And Khan. And Alexander. And Malignaggi. Floyd, Pac, and Bradley he needs to wait for.

He looked good to me on Saturday. His counters were on point, he's got some good power and his punches were accurate. Some of those body shots he was landing were just vicious. I look forward to seeing him fight again on any of the major networks.

Hmmm not sold on him yet. The power I do feel is overrated but looks to have skills that could get him a title.

How about a fight between he and Berto or Ortiz?

him vs Paulie would be nice to see, if he wins impressively he's the real deal but I think Paulie schools him.

I liked his last performance, didn't see why some people didn't. I'd like to see him fight Malignaggi.

    Quick two things....

He goes for the body better and more often than most power punchers.

He cocks and loads in a very obvious vulnerable way like many power punchers.

a KO video is the worst thing to watch..

You need to post something showing off his boxing prowess.
