Is Keith gonna put on a clinic? Is he gonna school the young lad or is Brock gonna beat up an old man?

Of course there's plenty of doubt about whether Keith will actually make it to Australia given that he pulled out of his last fight. But I'm fairly confident Keith will make it to the ring this time. If it does come off it will be interesting to see what Keith has left. I'm looking forward to it.

Jarvis has fought one decent fighter and was stopped in the 1st round by Liam Paro. He's probably selected his victim rather well

Yes he was dropped with a great left straight to the chin from the southpaw Paro, the ref waived it off as Brock struggled to get up. It was a great punch, though it was a very competitive round before the KD. Jarvis landed a good shot himself as he was dropped.

Despite this stoppage, Jarvis looks pretty good to me. He has a very high KO %. 20 KOs in 22 fights.

Here is some recent shadow boxing.

He's obviously in great shape, in his physical prime and is super motivated. And he's fighting on his home soil.

In this interview he made it clear his intent is to get the early stoppage:

I don't know if a 36 year old Thurman is going to be able to stop him but he surely has the skills to outbox him. I would expect Thurman to come out fighting off the back foot, doing his usual lateral movement and trying to frustrate and set traps for an aggressive Brock Jarvis.

I would say this is a good test for a coming back Thurman who has only fought once in the last 6 years. At the very least, it should be fun to watch.

Keith "One Time I was a boxer" Thurman has become Broner 2.0

Comes back into the boxing scene after waking up broke in a motel somewhere and talks **** only to injure himself, back out or at best sleepwalk through the end of his career.

Wasn't he supposed to fight Tszyu?

Thurman will most likely beat Jarvis (shout ONE TIME IS BACK BABY!!!) then proceed to get drunk and fight a racoon.

Thurman vs the racoon will be $34.99 on Amazon Prime.

I'm just waiting for this fight to eventually "fall through". It's amazing how Thurman is still somehow around yet has done absolutely nothing for years.

Isn't this like his second fight in five years?
