This guy could become a superstar. He's exciting, dynamic, smart and well spoken. He's got the skills and the ambition.

Keith Thurman is my pick for the flag-bearer of the Welterweight division post-Mayweather.

Keith has the full package and appears to be very marketable.

Who do you guys pick to become "the force" around 140-154 over the next 5 years?

    Kell Brook knocks him out.

The guy comes off as a weirdo. He seems nice and all but it seems like he's missing a screw or two. Didn't he give a shoutout to San Diego when he was fighting in San Antonio?

Has nothing there to threaten the elite of the division

It's BLATANTLY obvious that he is a wrestling fan and watches way too much Seth Rollins.

He's got a great sense of drama and he can sell himself.

I admit that Kell Brook should be a fierce rival and is extremely skilled. Keith has the will, though.

I'd love to see this fight. I'm expecting Thurman to beat the hell out of Brook.

It would be a jab fest of the highest order, it would probably end up looking like Quillin-Lee, both scared of each others power and fight cautiously and intelligently but it would be a damn good chess match.

I think the exact opposite. Bring it on! Although I fear Mayweather vacating his three belts will see Thurman pick up a vacant title and avoid special k.

Keith Thurman seems to me like a boxer that is willing to fight Brook & Khan in the UK. Just a shame that he is All haymow, if I'm not mistaken.

I think so. Unless he's packing glass mandible section, he seems the real deal to me.

Keith Thuman is a SMART GUY. Listen to what he says here regarding TBE. Compare it to what Andrade states.

The guy knows the game and speaks very well. He has a lot of charisma and he can be sold and become a PPV star.

    I believe it.

Thurman will be a star. All he really needs now is a few signature wins. But I would say he does seem like a great all-rounder.

He's a good boxer with very good offence, including body-work, and I reckon he'll prove to have great heart and will. He's going to beat many boxers who maybe have more pure boxing licks than himself based on his willingness to be aggressive, his resourcefulness, and his will.

Khan, Brook, Maidana, Porter, Thurman & Bradley.

I think that is a one hell of a competative bunch...I don't see someone coming out on top of it.

Heck of a lot to look forward to over the next 3-5 years in that bracket of weight class.
