It's a shame Maidana is on the verge of retiring & Bradley is bieng held hostage by Top Rank.

If Maidana could be motivated to train he could get another good 2 years out of himself.

Don't forget though; Crawford will be in the mix and will at some point be pressured to take on the challenges at 147. Welterweight has become the marquee weight-class for boxing.

He can punch which always brings that element of excitement, he can box well enough if he has to and he keeps saying he will fight anybody and is not trying to protect his 0 and I like that, too many fighters are obsessed with keeping that 0 and it takes something away from them in my opinion because they seem to concentrate on not losing than actually going out and winning.

I like Thurman, I think he is just like Brook in the sense that we will not know just how good he really is until he is in big fights.

Meh, I'm sick of these types of fighters coming through and everyone heaping praise on them only to see them lose and then everyone dump **** on them and call them over-rated.

Let's see what Thurman accomplishes in the next three to five years when he has some proper serious fights, then rate him. He's not done enough yet, at the moment he's just another Kirkland/Broner/Ortiz/Alvarez.
