Thurman has fought 3 times in the last 7 years................................his time has passed.

He had such a major pop too, just to become half ass zen and blow on a didgeridoo. Welp..............

Thurman is 36? He really did end his career in 2019. Ruined potential.

Depending on opposition, part time fighters usually take big time beatings.

True but you would have to wait 3 years for One Time Every Three Years to return to the ring.

I get that. And I don't knock anyone for feeling that way. I'm just laughing at people clicking on a video/thread/article discussing Thurman in another bout and then commenting that they aren't interested in Thurman. It's not hard to ignore things you aren't really interested in. There are a bunch of fictional and fantasy heavyweight match ups discussed on this site and I'm not interested in discussing them and/or the fighters mentioned in the discussion. But I'm not going to click on the thread to tell people I don't care about the match up.

If anything, discussion Thurman vs a possible opponent like one would discuss a prime Lennox Lewis vs a current heavyweight today. Go into the conversation with an understanding that it would never happen, but I'll analyze it anyway.......lol.

One thing that should be mentioned though is that Thurman looked a lot smaller in the zoom video that was recently post of his press conference.

Keef is being brought to Australia to bend the knee. If not to Brock Jarvis, then to King Timmy.

I think a lot of us hardcore fans on here are fed up with him but casuals and some hard cores still like him.
Either way I will be ringside for this fight I don't live too far from the Horden Pavilion in Sydney and it is a good venue near the CBD.

Fed up with him over what? His inactivity. There are quite a bit of active fighters who don't fight but once or less a year as well.

I'm a hardcore fan. Fed up is not what I would use to describe how I feel about Thurman. That's a bit extreme, imo. Would I like him to be more active or at least show up when he promotes a fight he's involved in.....yes. But if an injury or some politics occur keeping him out of the ring at that point, it is what it is. He's still a talent I like to see in the ring. Not sure how that makes me a "casual"...... Hell, based on how often he has been in the ring over the last few years, it really doesn't make sense to claim that "casuals" are the ones who still like him as those same casuals don't know him. A casual wouldn't develop a strong liking with a fighter who has fought just 2 or 3 times since 2017. It's the hardcore fans who even know him as "One Time".

I'm not saying people shouldn't be frustrated with him, even though none of us really know what actually is keeping him out of the ring beyond an injury reported to us. I just don't get how people can claim they "don't care" about him saying he has a fight coming up and feel the need to purposely click on a thread discussing that fight to announce that they don't care......lol.

It's all hilarious to me. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I hope he does make it to the ring and gives the fans, both hardcore and casuals, something legit to discuss about him.

What, is too many words threatening to you? Why would you think I'm worked up. Just having a conversation. Did you even read what I said or just figured I was arguing because I wrote more than one sentence?
