One Time vs. Fun Time! :ibutt

A lot of people have claimed Brook is a full level above Thurman, so I'm curious to see if anyone thinks someone Brook dominated could hang with or even beat Thurman.

I'll tack on a poll later. Posting from my phone doing a work event at some pro mountain biking race on a farm. :?

Thurman decapitates this british fodder. Not even a question.

No, Thurman had enough tune ups, time to fight someone real IMO.

Gavin is so feather fisted that even "run time" wouldn't be running vs Gavin, he would look like his old "one time" nickname as he batters Gavin.

...but how frustrated would Thurman be with Gavin's defense? :think

It took Brook a few rounds to unlock it and Brook is sharper and less wasteful. (but less powerful)

Brook didn't look frustrated to me, bored maybe yeah as when he went up a gear he finished it quickly. Gavin offers zero threat and i think you know this ha.

Gavin should not be mentioned for any top fighters at 147.

I personally consider this a huge mismatch, but for those who claim Brook is a level above Thurman it ought to be a bit closer, no? I'm looking to see whose ass is good for cashing those checks their mouths wrote. :D

I do think Gavin did have loads of potential once, and those who tabbed him as being a good prospect to maybe go beyond the shores of the UK and make some noise weren't completely off-base. There was always writing on the wall in terms of his commitment, though, and from the Skeete robbery on it has been clear he won't be making the jump to world class.

Brook isn't a level above Thurman, might be a better fighter but its close. I would favour Brook but not a certainty.

Thurman vs Porter would be a better fight than Gavin.

I'd like to see Gavin vs. Skeete II - give him a chance to redeem himself & rebuild @ domestic level, or else just retire.

Let me rephrase - I wouldn't like to see Gavin vs. Skeete II, but think it should take place. :yep

For some reason I kind of thought Collazo would be a problem for him, Frankie not so much.
