I was going to suggest you doing an S&M thread in the lounge if you actually did want to see a rematch of that.

Thing is, Collazo isn't better than Gavin. (not anymore...he isn't the same Collazo that got robbed versus Hatton and Berto...he was struggling with C+ dudes for years before he was lucky enough to land a bat-shit hot-mess part-timer half-retired big name in Ortiz in the ring)

Gavin > present day Collazo, but that said, Collazo was able to bother Thurman a little because he does have some dig and knows how to maximize it (and going for Thurman's body was a brilliant move on the veteran's part). I wouldn't see Gavin having that kind of success as he lacks the punch (or, more importantly, the ring IQ to squeeze the most from what punch he does have) - but, I'd pick Gavin over Collazo h2h right now.

    If that makes any sense.

Yeah I know, he's way past it, but his style I thought would be problematic, but not quite as much as it was.

Agreed on the second part for sure, in fact i'd be happy if i never watched another Gavin fight again, no urgency from him whatsoever.:rofl:rofl
