Good fights. Not the best opponent either could be fighting but definitely have meaning to them. Would be especially impressed with Wilder facing Ortiz, who would be by far his best opponent. The second half of Thurman vs. Vargas should be very interesting.

Wilder will have a tough fight with Ortiz, and Thurman should beat Vargas quite easily. Its still a good double header though.

Edit. My bad its two separate cards.

You reckon Thurman has a shot of stopping Vargas?
Vargas is tough and will bring it like you said but he was out boxed and was made to look slow against smaller less powerful Welter's like old Pac and Bradley. Thurman is bigger, stronger & faster I can see him hurting Vargas.

Runtime won't be stopping Vargas and if he's not careful Vargas will get in his ass. Thurman should be the favorite and I'd still pick him to win but I'll be rooting for vargas.

Thurman long lay off though could be a big factor

Yeah the lay off could be a big factor but I have a feeling it will do him good and he will take Vargas out making some fans change their mind regarding the winner of a potential Thurman Spence fight.

Fair enough but I just can't forget Bradley getting in that ass for 11 rounds Vargas had no answer until the final seconds of the 12th. I just see Thurman being to quick and powerful for Vargas.
