According to Lance Pugmire Vargas is good candidate to face Thurman in february, what are your guys thoughts, do you like this fight or not?

Not a bad fight coming back from injury and I think Keith's earned a brief respite after fighting two top five WWs back to back, so I'm certainly not going to begrudge him this.

But we all know who wins this.

Vargas turned down the Cotto fight apparently, as did Danny Garcia.

Keith hasn't had any real soft touches since at least 2010,
(that's like half his career) even the beatable guys he fought were still workhorses with
some dangerous element or wrinkle to them. Coming back from an injury,
I have no problem with this fight.

This would be kind of a mismatch even if Jessie wasn't rusty, IMO.

I don't have a major problem with it either, like you said Thurman's schedule has been tough and Vargas is hardly a bum; this just happens to be enough of a mismatch that nobody should expect any drama or to make any money betting on the outcome.
