not true, not anything can happen.. anything can happen within reason.
soto is so far inferior in skills, speed, power and chin the upset is pretty close to impossible.

this is the definition of showcase fight. who else could anyone pick to make thurman look better against

Did anyone expect Angulo to give Lara trouble? On paper, Lara was supposed to look like superman in there. There are so many examples of fights where, on paper, one guy was supposed to dominate the other but it doesn't always work out that way.

But yeah, Thurman should win convincingly. The key word is should.

Great post. Insightful and hilarious. :good

This fight should answer how much power Thurman possesses. I really hope he wins via KO as it will inject more excitement into he division.

    Good post.:thumbsup

Yeah, JSK is a top notch fight who overachieves on the Blevel, but has not had success at the top. He's an almost unbeatable test if his opponent is not a top fighter, but b/c of his record and his popularity being less than ability, he'll have to drop a rising star a few times and really school him to win. He'd have to seriously beat Thurman for a draw.

Haymon wants Thurman to make him $$$$. No way does he stand a chance of being robbed in this fight.:think

JSK has a good chin. But Thurman's power is enough to put him down and keep him down. This could be a very early KO.

In a perfect world of Haymon...Haymon wants Thurman to lose to Floyd in a mega fight...as time passed, he noticed Thurman is not cashout material :deal

Haymon wants Thurman to fight Broner after Broner loses and Mayweather retires...as those are his bigger clients now...Thurman is being the hungry contender he is...which is clashing directly against the interests of Haymon (poor guy taking the blame for all the bad vibe tmt/gbp), but that his role :yep

You are not fooling anybody :nono, if Thurman doesn't fight undefeated Broner or Mayweather next we know the deal

Thurman already talked to various people, so this might become a big problem if he gets robbed...happy holidays :smoke
