Plenty of live bodies at 147 he could face and he picks him? Even Amir Khan would be a better fight than this guy.
Those are good wins, sure. Lets say they're about a 7 or 8 out of 10, quality wise. The eight is generous. Regardless I wouldn't classify either of them as being anywhere near as highly lofted as Thurman... So the inevitable question you end up with is this... who the hell has he really beaten to elevate him near the very top of such a prestigious list? His resume is thin compared to the other fighters that occupy the actual top places in the list, he's struggled against so-so levels of competition on and off or years compared to what the real work horses of the sport are doing 30 plus pounds down south of where "One Time" fights, and his inactivity as of late is more than trying, even more so than his lack of willingness to make the biggest fights available for himself and his career to happen. I'm just not impressed. He's a quality operator, yes, but there are plenty of those in boxing and I don't feel that Keith is the absolute cream of the crop. His ceiling has already been clearly shone and the cracks in his game are evident enough for another elite talent to topple him in decisive fashion, in my opinion. My opinion is that he's on borrowed time with Spence around, who to be quite honest has impressed me more than Thurman.
