    Unlikely IMO. Diaz is shot; he just happened to have the right qualities to make Porter and Khan look ordinary.

    Thurman is definitely not flawless, but his flaws are not the same kind that allowed Diaz so much room to exploit & capitalize versus Porter (sloppiness) and Khan (weak chin).

    Both of those guys are very speed-reliant, and Diaz is a timing guy. Even shot, he can time a fast guy and surprise him with counters.

    Thurman, while not slow, is nobody's idea of a speedster. He is a counter-puncher himself...a boxer/puncher whose calling card is more power than hand speed.


    Diaz is getting stopped in all likelihood.
