Keith Thurman vs. Robert Guerrero in November? Undercard for The One set.

So you believe Guerrero comfortably deals with Thurman eh..?

Other way around. I think Thurman deals with Guerrero.

 

I'd say it's a 50/50 fight. Thurman is a very promising young fighter, but I don't think it's a given he's just going to walk through Guerrero. This is a BIG step up in competition for Keith, good to see he's getting these type of fights now.

 

I don't think Guerrero is that much of a step up.

He'll be a sitting duck.

 

^^Well considering his ring experience and the fact he's won titles in multiple weight classes, I do think he's a step up resume-wise to any person Thurman has fought as a professional prizefighter.

I didn't think Robert had a chance in hell to beat Andre Berto, whose combination punching, handspeed and overall power I thought would be too much for The Ghost. But the referee allowed Guerrero to employ his rough house tactics such as punching Berto repeatedly in the back of the head and just making it an overall ugly fight inside the pocket.

I can understand why people are favoring Thurman in this fight, but he hasn't fought anyone of note yet, so it's hard to assess if he'll look as dominant as he has when he starts to take on top-tier fighters.

 

Thurman isn't Berto.

Robert will get blasted out easilly if this fight is made:deal

 

The Ghost needs to stay as far away from Thurman as possible. Thurman is just too much for him. It's a bad career move.

 

i can't believe everyone is picking thurman to win so easily. get off the hype train this fight will be a lot closer than you think, i give guerrero a slight edge.

As for Thurman vs. Guerrero -

As for Cano vs. Theophane - :dead

(that will be even worse than Smith vs. Molina, despite Cano's best efforts to make it entertaining)

 

soto-karras (ko'd by maidana) who beat berto would also beat these two.

 

Smith-Molina will be an ugly fight but at least it's significant as a belt will be on the line and the winner will end up fighting one of the big names at 154(Lara?). Cano-Theophane will be better than you think. Cano has a LOT to prove after his last showing.

 

Have you ever seen Theophane?

He could make anyone boring. I think especially someone like a Pablo Cano, who is gutsy but not very imaginative or adaptable. Theophane will spoil 'til the cows come home and Cano won't be able to force the fight. It won't be fun.

Your probably one of them people that go off accomplishments and cant see Guerrero losing because Thurman hasnt even been a world champion yet
