It's always nice to hear the truth but there's a reason boxers don't typically speak it...it can backfire tremendously. Now Khan can say things like "Thurman is scared" or whatever if they offer him a fight and he doesn't take it, when the truth is Khan may have low balled him on the offer. Sadly, it can literally affect your stock or earnings by speaking the truth, then not to mention what the haters have to say in all their "wisdom"

I love Thurman for his honesty..its refreshing. I'm sure he believes he'd beat khan but he isn't arrogant to the point of not realising khan has good skills to pose a thtrat.
