I just dont get it.he hasnt fought anybody with a name. And even people.hes fought that are relatively known,hes struggled with them. Plus he is still.fighting a nobody in Bundu. Give me a peterson or guerrero or SOMETHING.
Bundu would probably beat Peterson, lol. Thurman is an explosive puncher quick and has a good range of punches, boxes well off the Blackfoot and is a big ww.
He beat the guy Bradley is fighting next and the guy that Alexander fought last time out. And if he wanted a gimme fight, there are easier options than underrated Bundu who will be coming to win. There's something.
I see potential, I don't think he's a world class fighter yet. I see a guy that gets better with each fight, has the speed and power to cause anyone problems. He can box or brawl. Some people say he struggled with Chavez but that's because he was going toe to toe then around mid-fight made adjustments and outboxed him. That shows intelligence and ring IQ, and the ability to think under pressure which is a great quality to have. He seems focused. He can also fight off of the back foot like we saw vs Diaz. He has great qualities. I know he's been caught a couple times but he never gets caught twice. He makes the right adjustments and appears to be getting better with each fight.
