Both Brook and Thurman have weak resumes. Thurman has the better ****nal of skills.

At least Thurman is fighting semi decent opposition. Thurman/Brook would be a fascinating fight, but Brook needs to step up. A fight and win versus Rios/Marquez would elevate his credibility a lot.

 

Porter is better than any Thurman opponent... Maybe Brook should look average against Bundu next fight and this forum would love him. :good

 

The Ghost is arguably on the same level as Porter, maybe even better on his day. Guerrero, Chaves and Collazo are greater than Brook's resume as a whole though...quantity as well as quality is significant, and Thurman has more in these than Brook does. Brook just needs to prove himself.

 

Brook is the real hype job here. 34 fight and 33 of which are tomato cans. He's even defending his title against one pastry after another.

 

It will be more like Brook getting his ass Mintered.

Let's see Brook take on some better opponents before jumping to that conclusion...

 

I think brook should be a slight favored over Thurman if they were to fight.

Not only did he say that he couldn't see, when asked if he the fight stopped he said yes. He knew that if he went back out there, the possibility of him getting knocked completely out was in the 99 percentile. He even said post fight that the reason he quit was because he wanted to continue his boxing career. Maybe he felt that if he got knocked completely out that it would end his career. Then maybe he was scared of getting seriously hurt because Thurman was dropping some heavy drama on his dome.
