You know whats funny is under an previous alt he didnt even pick pac to win the fight he picked pbf. So after all this talk for years he didnt even stand by his boy. He always knew pbf was superior and never even wanted the fight to happen in the 1st place because he knew pac would get schooled. I exposed him and called him out for this years ago. Lmfao!!!

Wait, so you scored based on your own subkective idea as to how big a points swing it should have been?.

If in your eyes if Thurman won the round then 10-10 would have been more thain fair.

Pac shouldn't get extra points just because he scored a KD.

Knocking a fighter down is a big event in a fight especially at the world class level. Thurman might have been edging the round, but he wasn't washing Pac. Pac was landing some good shots leading to the KD.

I can see 10-9 if the guy that scores the KD was taking an absolute beating before dropping his opponent.

    10-8 Pac is appropriate.

    Wtf?
This being for a world title has nothing to do with the KD.
A knockdown is just that, a ****ing knockdown. The fighter who scores it gets an extra point(not to forget the 10 point must system)
If you think Thurman won the round then it should be 10-10. 10-9 Pacquiao makes no sense. So Pac won the round but doesnt get the point for the KD or he gets 2 points for the KD?... wut?

Either 10-10 or 10-8 for Pac.
Thurman winning the round by a landslide or just by a little should have no affect on the point distribution. Either he won the round or not.(of course there are times when fighter A is so dominat that he gets a 10-9 without the KD, but this clearly wasnt it).

Thos is why compubox doesnt matter and why damage doesnt matter, as boxing is scored on a 10 point must system and by rounds. Whomever scores the most points wins.

The rules criteria to judges doesn't make itself clear on how to score a round where fighter A is winning but gets dropped.
Because the judging criteria isn't clear on that, it pretty much becomes subjective as to how each judge scores such round.

I've seen such rounds scored 10-10, 10-9 for the fighter who scored the knockdown, but most of the time such a round is scored 10-8 for the fighter that scored the knockdown which I feel is the unfairest way to have scored such a round.

The scoring of the round really does become subjective, there's really no right or wrong way to score it.
Some believe that it doesn't matter how dominant a round a fighter was having, if he gets dropped even if its just a flash knockdown, its scored 10-8 against him.
All three judges in that Pacquiao-Thurman fight scored the first round 10-8 Pacquiao.

The way I saw it, Thurman though not dominating, clearly was winning the round. Had Pacquiao's shot just wobbled Thurman even slightly, I likely would have scored it 10-10, but because Thurman went down I see it as Thurman being wobbled and dropped, so then my thinking is I'm giving another point separation for the knockdown. Thus the 10-9 in favor of Pacquiao the way I saw it.

Even though all three judges scored 10-8 Pacquiao, I view that as insane as you have one punch that didn't really hurt Thurman making a round go from 10-9 Thurman to 10-8 Pacquiao. A 3 point swing in such circumstance is insane imo.

    How did you score it?

Cant remember how I scored. But either a 10-10 or likely 10-8 Pac.
