i was so dissapointed with this fight i was never high on keith and didnt look at him as some sensation but but i liked that he was an exciting fighter. In this fight he looked sensational in the first couple of rounds but bundu started countering him after a while and thurman just ended up doing nothing just about nicking the rounds.i gave bundu like 2-4 roubnds but a lot just looked the same with kkeith running around the ring and jumping in every so often with a combination that was parried and someitmes landing while bundu just trudged after him. One thing about this guy is when hes hit he always looks real shook or surpised or something it cant be a good thing going foward especially the way he fights. He did impress me a buitt with his movement but it was so dissapointing from what he was billed as, he took like no risks at all and was veeery inactive

To me he looked excellent as usual. Very solid display of boxing against a very fine fighter. Those who follow European boxing know what I'm talking about.

At the end of the day Thurman was very good against an overmatched opponent but it was very dull and I felt he could have done a lot more and won it more impressively but then again he couldn't have won any more rounds than he did because I believe they had him winning every round? Being from England it was already 3 in the morning and I was pretty tired and this fight did nearly put me to sleep but it was still an efficient performance and won it very easily

This is what happens when you step up in competition. Not all of your wins end in spectacular KOs. Bundu was completely game and probably had superior hand speed and reflexes over Thurman. What I noticed from Thurman is that he doesn't like to take too much chances. He thinks defense first. And I like that. And when he saw that Bundu was always trying to counter, he took a step back and boxed instead of getting careless. Thurman's got some good boxing skills. He can box or brawl. He'll do what the situation calls for.

To me, his stock didn't drop.

This post is without seeing it

    Sometimes you gotta just win

Not every fight is gonna be easy

    Better than him losing

Im sorry but what have I missed something ??? Boxing is a sport to hit and not to be hit and keith showed another side to him the fact he can box on the back foot. He need's improvement in a few areas but overall 8 months off coming off a injury boxing someone who isn't there just for the pay day. It was only basic fans who were booing but if for example the likes of Floyd,Canelo etc who rarely get there guys out of there preformed how keith did we wouldn't here the end of it! On that note I really think Khan vs Thurman is a real 50/50 fight Khan's speed in and out approach fast but not powerful shots against keith's power and stance ring movement.

I think Thurman KO's Khan. Bundu is very awkward and likes to counter. Khan comes at you with activity. That will give Thurman more chances to counter, which he can do. And once he lands something decent, it's good night for Khan.

Think he did fine, not spectacular but still a good performance.

He completely shut out an undefeated fighter who was in some good form.
    Nothing wrong with that

It was a good win, indeed. The other almost didn't throw anything. Thurman had something to do with it. At top level, you just don't knock everybody you face.

He scored a shut out against Bundu. That's a good win.

Nothing wrong with his performance other than the fact he maybe could have stepped on the gas a bit more

he outboxed a very very good boxer...yeah, terrible performance :nut all hype

I was rooting for Bundu but Thurman won impressively

The people saying he should have gotten Bundu out of there easily clearly don't follow boxing as they clearly know nothing about Bundu

Bundu's KO ratio is under 33% IIRC. Yet Thurman "ran" all night. Why was he boxing and pot shotting at a distance against a feather fisted fighter he was supposed to look spectacular against? The boos were warranted.

Who said he was supposed to look "spectacular" against Bundu? who has ever looked spectacular against him?

Bundu is underrated for his age has ability still see this as Thurmans best win to date but would like to see him step up another level mayb Maidana or Garcia if moves up
