Kel Brooks opponent looks poor from watching this. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlg82cDI8wI[/ame]
He was never going to face anyone dangerous, this fight is just to get him some exposure in the US. Matchroom keep talking about a world title fight in March, I think they'll get Senchenko over here.
Kell Brook is talented but a complete hype job at the moment. He is being very carefully matched but I want to see him step up into world class. It seems we are classifying him as world class just because the bogus WBO have decided to rank him highly.
Kell Brook = 1 / 200 favourite to win. Should he fight Mayweather I expect similar odds for Kell. Kell Doesn't know how to lose.
get him exposure in the us? nobody will give a **** because he's fighting someone that nobody gives a **** about. Why didn't he just fight someone who's past it but was a name at some point during his career. Really poor decision. He could k.o this guy inside twenty seconds and nobodys going to be inpressed.
TBH the guy looks to have a ton of heart he was gone there big time but came back. Brook needs someone to look good and this guys perfect. I ain't complaining it makes sense. They was never gonna match him hard at end of a progressive year this is a run out sorta thing.
No, it was against Jackiewicz, a fighter who has been played down both before and after the fight just because he was against Kell Brook it seems. Seriously, Rafal was/is a world class welterweight(not fighter, welterweight), and he got absolutely handled by Brook, I thought it was an extremely impressive performance against a guy with a deceiving record. Two very close fights with Jan Zaveck and a win over Delvin Rodriguez doesn't happen for just any average Joe. He was overwhelmed in terms of both physicality and talent, but he was still a more than valid opponent for almost any welterweight in the world(barring Mayweather and Pacquiao, obviously).
Brook is the most overrated fighter in Britain at the moment. He may well be as supremely talented as some make out, but so far he hasn't been involved in one fight that I've actually given a **** about. That run continues on Saturday night, it seems.
cant think of anybody who isnt dangerous. bailey, ouali, demetrius hopkins all names and beatable but all could derail him. jose luis castillo maybe?
