Pumped for this fight now after watching the weigh in, really hoping Kell can turn back the years and bring his A-game.

Brook physically looked amazing on the scales. Certainly hasn’t prepped for a cash out.

It's a long shot imo but if he's mentally there and genuinely believing himself then he's got a chance.cant wait now.

I have to admit I thought Brook would basically kill himself to make 147.. he looks incredible I got that wrong, badly wrong if you go by how he looks.

I'm still picking Crawford, I'm not fence sitting or giving myself an out, I'm picking Crawford.. but Kell looks like he has turned up in seriously good condition and if he has his speed, timing and strength are on point like his weight then Crawford will have to be 100%.

I’ve never been a big Brook fan. He’s a very good fighter but I just could never take to him. After seeing this weigh in I hope he can pull this off. He’ll need to be a lot sharper than his last couple of fights to have any chance obviously but I’d like to see it happen.

I reckon brook will cause Crawford loads of trouble in the opening 6 rounds. But unfortunately like the spence fight he'll tire and Crawford will take over in the later rounds and more than likely force the stoppage.

I hope I'm wrong though. Would love kell to do the job.

Agreed on the above. Peak Brook does this guy or goes close. He'll look good for a few moments but eventually succumb.

Anyone know when first bell is likely?

I saw a comment on YouTube that raised quite a good point. When Crolla retired Matchroom and Sky gave him essentially a testimonial fight against a 15-fights unknown (which he clearly lost as well), giving him a solid send off.

Contrast that to their treatment of Kell who is fighting a former undisputed P4Per for a world title in a meaningful fight. Kell has brought in far more PPV and gate revenue than Crolla ever did yet Hearn has turned his back just because Brook did the negotiations with his own team to maximise his earnings.

Like I said it would just be so poetic if Brook pulled it off and became hot property at 147 again, with Hearn missing out on his next fight completely.

I doubt Crawford knows what he's in for in that ring tonight. Chocolate brownies from all angles.

I’ve never been a massive Brook fan, but I’d love it if he could do the impossible tonight. Just going out there (For whatever reason) with no real tv coverage, no promoter etc, I’d be buzzing if he could pull it off. Realistically though I think he’ll have a few good rounds and put in a decent performance but get stopped on his feet in the later rounds

He looked very dry on the scales, but in fairness he did manage to hold onto a good amount of muscle. As long as he can rehydrate fully then who knows, as far as ring fitness gos, this might be the best thing to happen for Kell, the training camp he did abroad.

I don't agree that the absence of his long-term trainer is "the best thing to happen for Kell".
His weight was good when he was training in Sheffield (before he went to Fuerteventura).

Like a lot of us, I've never been a fan, I'm 100% behind him tonight though and I like Crawford so he's definitely won me over with how serious he's taking this. It would be a great story if he could pull this off, it's been a few years since the eyes, if he can stay out of trouble for long enough early on whilst inflicting pain on Crawford I think he has a chance, hanging in there until the later rounds on its own is not going to be enough.
