I'm glad Brook was in a tough fight, It showed us he's got a solid chin and a big heart, to fight on when he could hardly breath and tough it out, first 6 or 7 rounds rounds Brook looked exceptional, Jones is a very solid operator and has an iron jaw IMO.

Kell will have too bring in a strength and conditioning coach, he gassed in about the 8th or 9th round, but stamina issues can be resolved.

Good performance from Brook, I had it 116-112, don't know how the hell one judge had it a draw.

I agree with 90% of what u said apart from jones having an iron jaw. It could be g
that Brook is just not a huge power puncher cos Jones has been KO'd by Alfonso Gomes (40% KO), a journeyman with a 17-11 record and was down twice against Soto-Karass. I still reckon Kell will win a world title cos Bailey is there for the taking & I reckon Kell would beat Malignaggj

Cant disagree there mate i had 116 -113 to Brook, what brook has learnt is that stepping it up youve got to be prepared for anything and Carsons style proved that, this is a good lesson learned and at the right time too. Brook fought adversity with his heart and guts.

If i were to view Carson Jones style as a chess opening id say The Blackmar Deimer Gambit

Quite. If I were to view Jones as a type of cheese it would be a strong cheddar. (I have no idea what the Blackmore Dimebar Gambit is...)

Just rewatched the fight. Brook won rounds 1-5 & 11 clearly, Jones won 7-9 & 12. 2 close rounds were 6 & 10 so all 3 scorecards seem fair 2 me.

Kell didnt do the weight right & ended up under serious pressure. He did show a lot of heart to keep fighting back after he'd gassed really badly, fair play to Jones who deserves a lot of credit for his performance.

    Excellent interview with Eddie Hearn

Did you see the counter left hook Kell hit him with, whilst his chin was in the air, it was brutal! He took it and kept marching forward.

Yes, and it maybe shows brook isn't as big a puncher as many think, cos Jones was down twice against soto karass & ko'd by Gomes & a journeyman.

Wouldnt go as far as to say he was exposed, but I'll agree he has been a hype job and hopefully this will give everyone a ****ing big reality check from himself,to the pundits who blow him far too forward to where he really is. Give him his due,he dug in and kept going taking some big punishment but they want to sort his fitness oot as he was pretty well gassed after 6, although again all credit to him for digging again and finding some flurries to keep Carson at bay or he could have been KOd.As for Carson, that is one durable tough mother****er.
Would like to say the judging was a breath of fresh air too,and even the draw, although I didn't agree with could still have been seen that way. Watt was giving the odd round to Brook because he was doing work in the first 90 secs but then was gassing and Carson was piling it on and I thought was sneaking it.Didnt really score it as after the first few I thought Brook was going to walk it but in all I would have had him in front by 2,possibly 1.
