Brook is tight at the weight? He doesn't look like a big welterweight, about the same size as Cotto.

and as long as a fighter fights proper contenders and challengers this is more so true, rather than protected, hyped up, bought champions...

Corner... absolutely shocking. They had no clue what to do. Brook will be faced with more challenging tests in the future... he will need a much stronger team around him.

As for Brook himself, there are parts of his game missing that I don't ever see him developing. Don't get me wrong, he has some serious talent... excellent punch angles and shot selection, and he also has the ability to 'disrupt' his opponent with clever use of his forearms and he has a lot of guile, but for all of that, there are fundamental flaws. Remember when Naz got his ass handed to him by Barrera... remember the look on his face, his body language etc when things weren't going his way? Naz got discouraged too easily, much in the same way as Brook did last night, and let's be real, Jones is no Barrera... never will be.

Brook got shown up bad style last night. Though Jones didn't beat him, what he did do was lay out the blueprint to beat Brook. I fear that Brook's career is going to take a nose dive from here on in, unless he is extremely carefully matched...

 

Khan got destroyed by Prescott when he had only 18 fights and was 21 yrs old i.e. he was a prospect. He was fighting weight drained at 135 which is the same weight since his amateur days as a 17 yr old. It was destruction Khan didn't get out boxed, it was over before it even started .

Where as Kell Brook is 26 yrs old has 28 fights and has padded his record fighting bums. Jones is barely fringe world level and Brooks looked like **** every single round it wasn't an accident, his skills or lack thereof was exposed.

 

Khan loss to Prescott comparison is ridiculous. Brook after 28 fights at 26 yrs, is supposed to be more or less a finished product and it doesn't look good for him.

 

I don't think he's exposed and I think he will still win a belt and learn from that .Tbh just badly managed I think .Should have stepped it up ages ago .He's not got a record for going into the trenches .

If you consider Brook a good fighter European level fighter, yes he did not look ****. But if you consider him world class worthy, given his age and number of fights, Brook should have destroyed a guy of Carson Jones caliber and hence looked ****. Jones has 8 losses to no bodies.

Reality is that Brook is a hype job padding his record taking on B and C level fighters.
