Just for the record, Maidana and Bizier fought in the ams, and Maidana was floored... Bizier have a good left hook. Brooke is way better, quicker, but as the fight goes to later rounds, who knows. Bizier is there for a reason. He also beat a gold medalist, Felix Diaz.
Are people forgetting what mandatory fights are? Should Brook of refused this fight and had his belt taken off him just to please a few bell ends on forums? His slow career is a bit irritating but why are people moaning about the quality of mandatory opposition and pointing the blame at the guy who has to face them.?
Kell Brook is Jo Jo dans first legit loss. the aydin matches were consider hilariously bad robberies. aydin lost 10 rounds in the first fight and got the dec. that's what happens when you fight in turkey
Is Bizier ranked other sanction bodies? Boxrec rates him #20. I know there are some caveats using Boxrec as an indicator, but comparing Bizier ranking to other mandatories and opponents, it seems quite OK. Actually, I hate to bring this up, but someone here might be a bit bias - look what Saunders is doing! GGG vs. Wade (Boxrec rank #11) Gonzalez vs. Arroyo (Boxrec rank #20) Ward vs. Barrera (Boxrec rank #23) Saunders vs. Pursak (Boxrec rank #50)
This has been explained before plenty of times before. Kell just helped out his promoter who needed a new main event because he lost the purse bid for degale vs dirrell. He was gonna then fight Chavez but got injured. Yes brook needs to step it up once he gets bizier out of the way. him and Eddie will have to make a big fight happen this summer. Don't get it twisted, kell will fight anyone. It's up to his promoter to get him the fights he wants.
I think Kell genuinely wants big fights, but I think Eddie isn't doing him any favours. All they seem to do is talk, then eventually it's the inevitable 'oh they didn't want to fight us' ****. Seems to go on and on. Fair enough, Bizier is the mandatory. If there's not a decent fight for Kell after that I'd have to start questioning if he really wants it and what his motivations are, and I say that as a fan of his.
I don't know much about Bizier but he looked like a pretty good fighter in his last fight. He seems well schooled and very competent with a nice left hook to head and body. He certainly didn't look like a ''bum''
I think it might turn out to be a pretty decent fight if Bizier can stand up to Brook's power. Bizier brings it and has a nice compact style. [YT]SyU87cx6h7w[/YT]
I think it will go to points this one. Think big fighter wise brook beats Bradley and Vargas due to their lack of power only. Thurman and a rematch with porter would be harder to call.
Really nice left hook, yeah. Has a bit of pop, and is quite durable. I also think Bizier's got a chance to make this interesting.
